You do not need to know which technique to book. That is something we can work out together.
Before I start your treatment, I want to know what is physically bothering you and how you would like it to change. I may look at how you are moving, ask questions or check what seems related to the complaint. Then I will explain what I want to work on and why. You can agree, ask questions or change the plan.
The treatment is not a fixed routine that I use on everyone. I use the techniques that make sense for the treatment goals we have agreed on. I normally work through one area at a time and adjust the treatment as I learn more.
I like open communication. Tell me if the pressure needs to change, if something is uncomfortable or if part of the treatment is especially helpful. You can talk during the treatment or stay quiet. That is your choice.
When the hands-on part of the treatment is finished, I reassess the original complaint, movement or finding. We want to know whether the treatment made a useful difference and what, if anything, should happen next.
Massage Therapy does not diagnose medical conditions or replace medical care. If something is outside my scope or needs medical clearance, I will tell you.
